Killeen police looking to identify forgery suspect

Posted:
KILLEEN - Killeen police are asking for the public’s help in finding a forgery suspect.

The alleged victim told the department in December that someone stole his checks and forged them.

He told officers he invited a female guest named “PG” to his house Saturday, November 30. He left the room for a short period, and when he got back, the woman was gone. The victim’s bank notified him when it found several of his checks were cashed at a local Ace Checks Express.

The victim then discovered some of his checks had been taken from his residence without permission. They were found to have the victim’s forged signature on them.

Detectives are asking anyone who has information about this crime or can identify the woman in the photo to contact Crime Stoppers at 526-TIPS (8477), or anonymously go online at www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com or text BELLCO along with the tip to 274637.

If a tip leads to the arrest of the perpetrator, that person could be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
