MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX (KXXV) - Two state prison inmates are now in the McLennan County Jail.  Speedy Bryant and Concepcion Rosas were brought from Huntsville to Waco.

They're set to testify as witnesses in the murder trial of Carnell Petetan Junior.  Bryant and Rosas are both serving time for robberies.

Waco police say Petetan shot his wife in cold blood, right in front of their daughter.  This wasn't his first run-in with the law.  Petetan had just gotten out of prison six months earlier.

Prosecutors are trying to give him the death penalty.

Jury selection for Petetan's trial started in February.  Ten jurors have been seated.  Testimony is scheduled to start next week.
