Business destroyed after fire rekindles Tuesday morning

HEWITT - A Hewitt business was totally destroyed after a fire rekindled Tuesday morning.

Fire crews got the call about the initial fire at 6:10 p.m. Monday night. The fire was at Flat Rock, a trailer and ranch supply store in the 400 block of Enterprise in Hewitt.

Multiple engines were called out, along with the Robinson volunteer firefighters. Crews were able to put out the fire about 9:30 or 10 p.m.

Fire officials say the fire was in a mechanical shop full of tires, along with welding and tire equipment. The building's walls had to be knocked down because of the damage.

The fire rekindled Tuesday morning and the building was totally destroyed.

No injuries were reported during the fires.
