WOODWAY - Police have arrested a 23-year-old for the second time in two weeks after police say she was breaking into area homes.

Waco PD arrested Whitlee Lindsey earlier in March for burglaries in the China Spring area, but was out on bond.

On Thursday, March 27, a Woodway officer checked on a suspicious truck off of Delhi after a caller's tip. Lindsey was seen walking up to the truck, and tried to flee in the truck.

The officer was able to stop the truck and take Lindsey into custody. The officer recovered items taken from a recent home burglary.

Lindsey was charged with burglary, resisting arrest, and possession of a controlled substance for the incident.
