CHINA SPRING - Police have arrested two people after recovering stolen property from a motel room that was taken during a China Spring home burglary and other suspected burglaries.

Whitlee Elaine Lindsey and Cory Ryan Lucas have both been charged with burglary of a habitation following an investigation into a burglary of a home in the 5600 block of Rosalie in China Spring.

Police say the family came home from work on March 4 to find their China Spring home had been burglarized. Jewelry, an iPad, TVs, computers, and cash were all reported stolen from the home.

During the investigation, police were led to a motel on I-35, where they recovered stolen property from the China Spring home burglary, as well as items from other suspected burglaries.

Lindsey and Lucas were then taken into custody. Investigators are working to determine if they were involved in several other burglaries in the China Spring area.
