WACO - A man is being held in the McLennan County Jail, accused of burglarizing his former employer's business and stealing a truck in 2013, after being fired.

Oliver Kyei has been charged with burglary and theft of property over $1,500 for the incident. Kyei also faces a possession of cocaine charge and is being held on a total $30,000 bond. The cocaine charge was filed by the McLennan County Sheriff's Office.

Waco police were called to a business in the 5500 block of S. Industrial, known as The Elixir Corporation, back on September 25, 2013 after the business discovered they had been broken into. They found that a large quantity of copper and a 2005 Ford work truck were missing.

The truck was found by Lacy Lakeview police the next day and the copper was sold at M. Lipsitz Company a short time later.

Investigators obtained a warrant for Kyei, who was found over the weekend and booked into jail on March 8.
