Fort Hood soldier convicted of multiple charges in court martial

FORT HOOD - A Fort Hood soldier was sentenced to 2 years in jail after being convicted of multiple charges in a court martial.

1st Lt. James Gilchrist Donohue, 27, was convicted of one count of abusive sexual contact, one count of wrongful sexual contact, one count of an indecent act, and one count of conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman.

Donohue was also found not guilty of several counts including: abusive sexual contact, wrongful sexual contact, forcible sodomy, conduct unbecoming an officer and gentleman, and two counts of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline and service discrediting during the General Court-Martial on February 22.

An officer panel sentenced Donohue to confinement for 2 years and dismissal from the service.
