BELL COUNTY, TX (KXXV) - Two people have been arrested after deputies caught them stealing items from a Bell County home Wednesday afternoon.

Bell County sheriff's deputies responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 3100 block of FM 438, east of Temple. Deputies saw a pickup truck parked at the back of the home when they arrived on the scene.

The truck was loaded with household items and electrical wire. David Allen Folger, 49, was walking out of the house, carrying household items as a deputy walked towards the home.

Folger told the deputy that his girlfriend, Martha Hernandez Morales, 55, was still in the house.

The Bell County Sheriff's Office says both Folger and Morales admitted to deputies that they were stealing items from the house. They were both arrested for burglary of a habitation and placed in the Bell County Jail.

A case has been presented to the Bell County District Attorney's Office for screening.
