Killeen officers no-billed by grand jury in 2013 fatal shooting where officer was killed

KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) - The Bell County Grand Jury reviewed the shooting death of Dustin Cole by Killeen police officers on Wednesday, and found that their actions were justified and voted to take no further action in the case.

This fatal shooting occurred back in July 2013, when Cole fatally shot Robert (Bobby) Hornsby in the shootout and injured Juan E. Obregon Jr., after police responded to a disturbance at the Grandon Manor Apartments, located in the 1600 block of Grandon Dr.

The Bell County Grand Jury found that the Killeen police officers were justified, and they voted to take no further action in this case.
