KILLEEN, TX (KXXV) - A 21-year-old Fort Hood soldier has been arrested in connection with a video game store robbery that occurred back in August 2013.

Jessica Elaintrell Smith has been charged with aggravated robbery and is currently in the Bell County Jail. Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin set her bond at $100,000.

Police responded to a 911 call about a robbery that just occurred at the Game Exchange located in the 2500 block of S. W.S. Young Dr., just before 9:15 p.m. on August 2, 2013. When they arrived, they where told two armed men forced their way into the story when an employee was escorting a female customer out after closing time.

The two men forced the employees to the ground and demanded money. The employees told police they heard someone knocking at the back door shortly after the two men entered the store. The two men opened the door and let a third man inside. The female customer was then let out the back door.

Police say the three men broke several glass showcases and stole a number of electronic items inside, before fleeing through the back door.

Detectives continued to investigate the robbery and determined that the female customer who was escorted out of the store that night was involved in the robbery. A search warrant was executed at Smith's home in the 3000 block of Blackburn Dr. on Feb. 6, and police recovered pieces of evidence. Smith was taken into custody.

The Bell County District Attorney's Office reviewed the case and Smith was charged with aggravated robbery.

More arrests are pending in this case. Detectives are still investigating the robbery and information will be released as it becomes available.
