UIL High School Realignment Brings Big Changes

AUSTIN, TX (KXXV) - UIL High School Realignment 2014-2015

Monday marked the bi-annual UIL District Realignment effective for the 2014-2015 school year.  The biggest change this year will be the re-definition of the classes.  Class 1A Six-Man will now become Class 1A. 1A will become 2A. 2A will become 3A. 3A will become 4A. 4A will become 5A. 5A will become 6A.

This is the first time the state of Texas has gone to a Class 6A specification.  Many schools moved up classes, but a few stayed put. Temple High School will be staying in Class 5A and will be put in the same district as the Waco ISD Schools.  Most schools changed classes and division as well.
