UPDATE: Wanted man caught in Temple after tip given to Crime Stoppers

Carlos Collins Jr. was arrested after a tip given to Crime Stoppers led police to his location.
 
Police say he was found at a hotel in Temple, and subsequently arrested him.
  
As of Sunday afternoon, he was in the Killeen City Jail awaiting arraignment

The Killeen Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a wanted man who is considered Armed and Dangerous.

Carlos Derell Collins Jr., 27, is wanted for aggravated assault that took place earlier this week.

Officers were called to the 4800 block of Peppermill Hollow on Tuesday just before 2:00 a.m. in on an assault call. When police arrived, they made contact with the victim who told them he was assaulted by a male acquaintance. The victim told officers' the suspect ran out of the house and fled the area. Detectives later identified the attackers as Collins.

Collins is described as a 27 year old black male with dreads, approximately 5'6" tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. He has two tattoos; one on his right shoulder with "Kiara" and "TX" outlined with the state of Texas and the second one on his left forearm with "Jeraldine".

The case was reviewed by the Bell County District Attorney's Office. Justice of the Peace Bill Cooke issued a warrant for his arrest.

Investigators also want to question Collins about a Homicide.

Police warn not to approach Collins if you see him, he is considered armed and dangerous.
