WACO, TX (KXXV) - Waco police have arrested a 35-year-old man accused of forcing his girlfriend into his van and then breaking into her home and assaulting her when she managed to get away.

Essiex Murray Jr. has been charged with burglary of a habitation, committing felony assault for an incident that occurred on January 11. He is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond.

According to Sgt. Patrick Swanton with Waco PD, the incident occurred at 1:15 p.m. Saturday afternoon, at a home in the 1100 block of Primrose in Waco.
