BELLMEAD - Bellmead police arrested two accused of luring men to a local apartment for "massages," then robbing them.

According to Detective Michael Miller with Bellmead PD, officers responded to a reported aggravated robbery at the Bordeaux Apartments, located in the 3600 block of Scroggins, on December 20.

Police determined during the investigation that the victim met Lacy Martinez on a website where she was advertising massages under the escort section.

The victim went into an apartment and after going into the bedroom, police say Martinez texted her boyfriend, John Herrera, who was hiding in a closet. Herrera is accused of coming out of the closet and attacking the victim. He is also accused of taking the victim's car keys and going to his car to look for more money and items of value.

The victim sustained serious injuries during the attack. He was eventually able to escape and make it to his car. Police say Martinez was still in the car. He fought with her and then was able to get into his car. The victim then drove to the Bellmead Police Department to file a report and was later treated for injuries.

Bellmead Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Martinez and Herrera following the investigation. During the questioning, police also learned that Martinez and Herrera had done this at least six other times, but they were not reported to police.

Herrera was arrested without incident at the Bordeaux Apartments on Monday. Police served the warrant on Martinez at the McLennan County Jail because she was there for a separate incident on January 4.

Police say officers responded to the Bordeaux Apartments on Saturday about criminal mischief. When officers arrived on the scene, they saw two white men and a white woman, later identified as Martinez, hiding behind a dumpster in the apartment complex. Officers approached them and detained the two men for questioning for criminal mischief.

Officers say Martinez had a small child and started walking away from the officers. Police say the officers headed towards her and asked her to stop. Officers say she ignored them and continued to walk away. Martinez was stopped by an officer. Martinez is then accused of kicking the officer. The officer told Martinez to stop kicking him, but she continued to kick him.

Another woman then came to the scene and took the child from Martinez. Officers arrested Martinez and she is accused of continuing to kick the officer while she was being handcuffed and while she was being walked to the police car.

Martinez is also accused of head butting the officer several times. The officer was taken for treatment after suffering a concussion following Martinez's alleged attack.

Martinez was transported to the McLennan County Jail and charged with assault-public servant, evading, and resisting for the incident.
