GATESVILLE - Police have arrested a 17-year-old accused of several recent home burglaries near Gatesville, in which he is accused of stealing four handguns.

Guilio Marc Willis has been charged with four counts of theft of a firearm, two counts of burglary of a habitation and possession of marijuana. His bond has been set at $51,000.

According to Gatesville PD, an officer saw Willis walking in the 2200 block of Bridge St. just after 2:30 p.m. on December 17. Police suspected Willis in several recent burglaries and police say they had information that he had some of the stolen items.

Police say the officer smelled burnt marijuana coming from Willis. While searching Willis, the officer found a bag containing a leafy green substance, which later tested positive for marijuana.

The officer questioned Willis about the stolen property, and Willis told the officer that the stolen items were at his home. Gatesville Investigators found four stolen handguns and a stolen Xbox system, with accessories and games, while searching his home.

Police say that during an interview, Willis admitted to being involved in two recent home burglaries. Investigators don't believe Willis acted alone during the burglaries, and expect more arrests during the investigation.
