MCLENNAN COUNTY, TX (KXXV) - Police arrested two men accused of getting their trucks stuck while mudding on the TSTC campus, then taking a construction truck from the nearby airport to get their trucks out of the mud.

James Michael Blackwell and Charles Michael Hatcher have both been charged with criminal mischief, under $1,500 for an incident on the TSTC campus on November 22.

Police say two non-TSTC students went mudding on campus on November 22. While mudding, they got one of their trucks stuck in the mud. The two men then got their other truck to get the first truck out of the mud, but the second truck became stuck as well.

According to police, the two men then took a construction truck from the nearby airport. They allegedly drove through the airport gate and damaged it. They used the construction truck to get their two trucks out of the mud.

When police arrived, the two men were gone and left the construction truck behind. Following an investigation, police identified Blackwell and Hatcher as the two men involved.
