WACO - Waco Police have arrested two men accused of beating and robbing another man in a Waco apartment parking lot in November.

Franco Geovani Navarrete and Jose Raul Navarrete have been charged with aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred on November 16.

The victim told police that a friend called him about 12:20 p.m. on November 16 and asked him to come over for a visit at an apartment in the 2400 block of Washington Ave.

When he arrived, his friend and two other men were in a car outside the apartment. Police say he was then dragged out of his car and severely beaten and kicked. He received injuries to his face, eyes, back, and torso.

One of the men then pulled out a gun, took his phone and told him he better not tell anyone what happened.

The victim managed to flee the scene and call police. Police began an investigation and obtained warrants for Franco Navarrete and Jose Navarrete. They are still looking for the juvenile who called the victim and told him to come to the apartment.

Franco Navarrete is also accused of setting a car on fire to burglarize a home. Click here to read more.
