Police arrest man accused of hitting victim with pool cue

HARKER HEIGHTS, TX (KXXV) -

A Killeen man is being held in the Bell County Jail accused of hitting a man in the back of the head with a pool cue.

William S. Hansen, 23, has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and his bond has been set a $100,000.

Police responded to the Rack-'Em club, located in the 500 block of Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Harker Heights, just before 10 p.m. November 29.

Police say Hansen and another man had been involved in a disagreement. According to police, Hansen is accused of hitting the victim in the back of the head with a pool cue while he was not looking.

The victim went down and police report that he was barely responsive when officers arrived. The victim was transported to Scott & White Hospital with a head injury. He is expected to recover.

Hansen was arrested at the scene.
