Art Briles' Brother Dies

The older brother of Baylor head coach Art Briles has passed, the university confirmed Wednesday evening.  There are few details on what happened, but we do know that Eddie Briles was taken to an Abilene hospital after suffering a head injury.

From Baylor Athletic's Department:

"Our deepest condolences go out on behalf of Baylor Nation to the Briles family following the loss of Coach Art Briles' older brother Eddie earlier today. We've seen an immediate and overwhelming outpouring of love and sympathy. We ask Baylor Nation to support Coach Briles and his family by respecting their privacy as they mourn their loss."

-Baylor Director of Athletics Ian McCaw, Nov. 27, 2013

Baylor plays TCU this Saturday and coach Briles will be on the sideline coaching the Bears.
