Police arrested an 18-year-old they say was involved in a burglary of a home and an organized crime case where a number of hats were taken from a Richland Mall store.
Police say Jose Raul Navarrete was involved in a burglary of a home, located in the 2300 block of Baylor, on November 12. A circular saw, two TVs and an Xbox were taken from the home.
Navarrete is also accused of being involved in an organized crime case, in which hats were taken from Lids, located in Richland Mall. Police say the incident occurred on November 16 and it is an organized crime case because there were three people involved.
Police say a female distracted store personnel, which allowed Navarrete and another person to steal the hats from the store.
Police have already arrested the woman accused of distracting the store employees.
