Woman on the run after stabbing man several times at bar

Waco Police are looking for a man and woman who attacked a man at a bar.

Police say the aggravated assault happened at the A&D Tejano Bar on 18th St. in Waco Saturday night. The 39-year-old victim was apparently trying to break up a fight. That's when a woman hit him on the head with a beer bottle.

The victim fell to the ground and police say another man started beating him. The victim then got back up and charged the woman who hit him but she pulled out a knife. The woman then stabbed him several times on the face, chest and back.

The man and woman fled before officers got there. The victim was taken to the hospital where he had to get surgery for his wounds. He is expected to survive.

Police are still looking for the man and woman and there have been no arrests at this time.
