KILLEEN -

Killeen police are investigating a stabbing that took place over the weekend and need help identifying the suspects.

On November 17, officers responded to the 7-11 convenience store, located in the 1000 block of Willow Spring Rd., in reference to a man who was stabbed.

Police say the preliminary investigation showed that a dark colored Nissan Titan truck pulled up to the gas pumps near a 20-year-old Killeen man. The driver of the truck rolled down his window and started a verbal altercation with the man.

A passenger then exited the truck and continued the verbal altercation, which then turned physical. The 20-year-old man was then stabbed multiple times. The passenger got back in the truck and the suspects fled the scene.

The victim was transported to Metroplex Hospital and later taken to Scott & White Hospital in Temple, in serious condition.

Detectives are asking anyone who can identify the suspects in this stabbing to contact the Bell County Crime Stoppers at (254)526-TIPS or go online to www.bellcountycrimestoppers.com
