FBI releases picture of suspected child predator

The number from the FBI is shocking: at any given moment 750,000 people are online looking for or exchanging child pornography.  The Bureau released pictures Tuesday of one of those predators, and they need the public's help finding him.

For now, they are calling him John Doe 27, and he's suspected of sexually exploiting a child.  In fact, initial images and videos of the unidentified adult male are still being circulated in numerous child pornography forums across the Internet.

The pictures from the FBI depict some clues about John Doe 27.  He has a distinct plaid chair in his home, and male pattern baldness on the back of his head. He wears a skinny ring on his right ring finger, and investigators believe they heard him call himself "Jimmy" in audio from one of the videos.

Right now the FBI has no specific details linking the suspect to a particular state or region, but they're hoping the pictures will result in some answers. It's all a part of the agency's Operation Rescue Me and Endangered Child Alert Program initiatives, which are both strategic partnerships between the FBI and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

If you recognize the man in the pictures, call your local FBI office.
