Area man arrested for threatening people with machete


Police arrested a 65-year-old Waco man accused of threatening people outside a plasma center with a machete.

Tindall Clarkston Herndon was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon following the incident.

Waco officers were called to the Plasma Center located in the 300 block of North Valley Mills Dr. about 7:30 p.m. Sunday night.

Herndon is accused of threatening the occupants of the business with a machete.

He was taken into custody and transported to the McLennan County Jail.
