GREENVILLE, S.C., Nov. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- KI Logistics, a subsidiary of global logistics leader Kimura, Inc., will establish its new North American headquarters and a major logistics facility at The Matrix Business and Technology Park in Greenville County, South Carolina. The $11.5 million investment will generate at least 149 new jobs.

KI Logistics will build its custom facility at The Matrix, encompassing approximately 206,000 square feet initially with the option to expand the facility. The company expects to begin operations at the facility in July, 2014.
Parent company Kimura Inc. already operates a manufacturing facility in nearby Laurens, SC. Yet the century-old organization is best known for its leading-edge expertise in logistics and distribution, serving as a preferred partner for such leading organizations as Drive Automotive, JTEKT and Toyota.
