Update: Killeen PD has confirmed that they have closed out the case of a missing Fort Hood soldier and his wife. Killeen Police were notified about 11:30 p.m. on Sunday that the couple had reportedly been found by a DPS Trooper in Wichita Falls.

Killeen Police have confirmed they are working an active missing persons case for a missing soldier and his wife, who have been living in Killeen.

Family members contacted police after they did not hear from either E.J. Gray, 23, or Courtney Gray, 19.

The couple is from Pueblo, Colorado, and E.J. is a soldier at Fort Hood. Police say E.J. is now listed as absent without leave (AWOL). Gray is assigned to the Third Cavalry Regiment, First Cavalry Division at Fort Hood.

According to police, the couple was last heard from on Sunday and Courtney Gray did not show up for work on Monday.

The couple has been known to drive a black or dark blue 2003 Volkswagen Beetle with Texas plates.
