Three men force man to withdraw money from ATM at gunpoint

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

Police are searching for three suspects accused of beating up a man and then robbing him after forcing him to withdraw money from a Waco ATM early Thursday morning.

The victim told police he was in a parking lot at 4th and Franklin just after 1 a.m. Thursday morning. He was approached by three men who forced him into a gold Buick LeSabre.

The victim says he was then beaten up and the suspects threatened to shoot him if he did not give them money. They drove him to an ATM near New Rd. and Valley Mills Dr., where they forced him to withdraw about $80 to give them.

Police say the suspects then took the victim's personal property and then dumped him out. The victim managed to walk to a nearby convenience store to find help.

He was transported to Providence Health Center for treatment.

Police are still investigating the robbery and looking for the suspects.
