Police arrest man caught on camera robbing local restaurant

BEVERLY HILLS, TX (KXXV) - Police say they have arrested the man who was caught on camera robbing a local restaurant on September 18.

60-year-old Johnny R. Glover has been charged with aggravated robbery by Beverly Hills PD, as well as parole violation.

The aggravated robbery occurred at the Jalisco Restaurant, located in the 1000 block of South New Rd., in Beverly Hills.

Authorities have been searching for Glover since the robbery and Waco PD and U.S. Marshals arrested him Thursday morning.

The man went into the restaurant and demanded money. Police say he acted like he had a gun and grabbed a handful of cash.

Glover was out on parole after being sentenced to 135 years for aggravated robberies in Dallas County. He had been in state prison since 1983 after being sentenced to 75 years and 60 years for robberies.

The judge stacked the sentences and his first parole possibility was this past summer.

UPDATE: On December 18, a McLennan County Grand Jury indicted Johnny R. Glover on charges of aggravated robbery(habitual) and theft of $1,500 or more.
