Man killed in accident after colliding with tractor

BELL COUNTY, TX (KXXV) -

A Moody man was killed Wednesday morning, when his car collided with a tractor that was driving on the shoulder of a Bell County highway.

DPS reports Abraham Camancho-Ruiz was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The accident happened just before 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, on State Highway 317 near FM 2601, about 4 miles south of Moody.

According to DPS, Camancho-Ruiz was driving his 1996 Hyundai Electra southbound on SH 317, when he veered onto the southbound shoulder and hit the rear of a front end loader tractor, that was driving on the shoulder.
