Arrest made in Waco shooting investigation

Waco Police have one person in custody after a possible shooting that happened around 5:30 p.m. Monday evening.

Nathan Parham was arrested and charged with unlawfully carrying a weapon, evading arrest, tampering with physical evidence, criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance.

Law enforcement officials were camped out in a parking lot at 12th and Speight after the arrest.  That's where they say the potential victim was seen.  Employees at the Domino's Pizza shop there saw someone crouched down, who looked injured.  When they asked if he was ok, he said he'd been shot.

Police say he then got into a black vehicle and was driven away from the scene. Authorities are still looking for him. They aren't sure if he suffered a gunshot wound or not.

They say the person in custody did drop a gun, but they don't know yet if he shot it.  He did not have identification on him, so police aren't sure if the people involved are juveniles.
