Two houses damaged in early morning fire

Two houses in Waco received damage after a fire broke out in the early morning hours on Friday.

Firefighters got a call of a fire in the 3500 block of Pine Ave. in Waco just after 5 a.m. Friday morning.

The fire started in a vacant house and caused a hole in the roof, parts of the house to be exposed and also caused damage inside.

The fire spread to a house next door, which had people living in it. The house next door only received minor damage and no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire is unknown and the vacant house wouldn't be livable after the fire. Fire Marshals are investigating the fire and authorities are not sure if they're investigating an arson.
