Man Arrested After Two Cars Stolen from Waco Dealership

Posted:
WACO -

A former employee of Allen Samuels Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep and Ram in Waco is accused of helping steal two vehicles from that dealership.

Charles Horsely is accused of having a 2012 Dodge Charger valued at $38,500 and a 2012 Chrysler 200 worth $23,500 that disappeared from the dealership last March.

Two months later an Allen Samuels employee saw the Dodge Charger at the Olive Garden restaurant and police impounded the car.

Later the employee found the second vehicle in the parking lot at Gym-X in the parking lot of Richland Mall a short distance away.

A police investigation found Horsely had the two cars.  He told officers he rented them and there was some type of misunderstanding.

Police got a warrant and arrested him on two counts of possession of stolen property over $20,000.
