Waco day care operator turns herself into police again

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

A Waco day care operator has received two additional warrants for endangering a child on two separate cases with two additional children and has turned herself into police again.

Police had been investigating her for several months and requested warrants for 49-year-old Marian Bergman Fraser.

The additional warrants were issued late Friday afternoon. She turned herself into Waco PD on Monday around 3:00 p.m. after bonding out of jail last week.

She initially turned herself into police on August 8, just before 9:30 a.m. and bonded out later in the day. She faced a charge of injury to a child causing death, a 1st degree felony.

According to police, 4-month-old Clara Marguerite Felton of Waco died March 4. Her cause of death was determined to be from toxic levels of Diphenhydramine (Benadryl) in her system. Police believe the baby was given Benadryl to keep her asleep during nap time.

Felton was transported to Providence Hospital by ETMC after workers at Spoiled Rotten Daycare found her unresponsive and not breathing in her crib on March 4.

The two new endangering a child cases involved two 1-year-old girls. Police believe they were also given Benadryl by Fraser while they were at her daycare. Both of the girls tested positive for Benadryl in lab tests.
