Local man steals male enhancements products from store

Police arrested a 59-year-old man who is accused of stealing male enhancement products from a Waco store.

Michael Wayne Williams has been charged with robbery for an incident at a Waco Drug Emporium on August 6.

Officers responded to Drug Emporium, located in the 5900 block of Bosque, at 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.

Police say Williams was seen trying to leave the store after he shoplifted male enhancement products.

Two store employees tried to stop him from leaving, but Williams pushed both of them out of the way while leaving the store. This caused a female employee to injure her knee after she was knocked to the ground.

The store manager contacted police as the suspect fled east on Bosque. Officers were able to catch Williams at the intersection of Bosque and Wooded Acres. He was then taken into custody and charged with robbery.
