COPPERAS COVE -

A woman in Copperas Cove was arrested after she left her 4-year-old daughter unattended for one hour.

Tina Marie Pina was charged with abandoning or endangering a child with intent to return and bond has been set at $10,000.

Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of A Phil Ave on July 24 at around 10:45 p.m. for a call of a 4-year-old that was left unattended outside.

Police met with the woman who called police and she told them that her son had come home and told her that a girl had called him a bad word. The woman went to speak with the Tina Pina about her daughter.

When the woman got to Pina's home, she saw Pina's daughter run around the house screaming and crying. The woman was unable to find Tina Pina, so she went to check on Pina's daughter.

The woman checked on the girl and she said she was scared because her mommy left her. The girl said no one was home. The woman took the girl to her house and called police.

The girl's Aunt came to get the girl and told police that Pina had just recently gotten her children back and that Pina has 13 CPS cases. Pina arrived two hours later after the girls Aunt called her.

Pina told police that she thought the Aunt's boyfriend knew the girl was at home.
