Video and photo evidence admitted in the trial of accused Fort Hood shooter

Military Judge Col. Tara Osborn asked for the prosecution to litigate on the visual evidence they submitted to be admitted.

She asked why it was necessary to have video, photos, and diagrams of victims who were killed in the 2009 Fort Hood Shooting.

The prosecution told the court that the visual evidence shows that accused Fort Hood shooter Maj. Nidal Hasan planned the attack before it happened.

Some of the evidence includes multiple photos of the building and the crime scene, which shows the body of a soldier who was shot twelve times in his active combat uniform.

All of the prosecution's evidence went unopposed by Maj. Nidal Hasan.

Three 911 calls, and at least one dash cam video will also be admitted into evidence.

The next pre-trial hearing is set for July 31, at 2:30 p.m.
