KILLEEN -

Aegis Limited is planning to add 1,400 jobs to it's Killeen location over the next four months.

The company, which is a global outsourcing and technology company, announced that it will add 5,000 jobs this year in the U.S. 1,400 of those jobs will be customer service and sales representative positions at the Killeen location.

Another 1,800 jobs will also be added to their Irving location.

"When we joined the jobs4america Coalition two years ago we pledged to hire more than 4,000 workers in the US over the next two years," said Sandip Sen, global CEO of Aegis. "And we are proud to report that we have accomplished that goal and more."

Aegis has been in Killeen for just over 3 years and already employs about 1,000 people.

According to Aegis, the job responsibilities for those positions will be "presenting the options available to consumers so that they can make informed decisions regarding their health care."
