COPPERAS COVE -

A second arrest has been made in connection to the July 5 shooting in Copperas Cove that injured three people.

Misty Nicole Lane has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Lane is accused of being the driver of a Chevy Suburban from which a shotgun was fired. She is accused of driving to and from the shooting.

Officers responded to the 200 block of Erby Avenue on July 5 around 12:30 a.m. in reference to a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found 3 men with gunshot injuries.

None of them were fatally wounded, but one man lost a thumb, another was shot in the foot and another was wounded in both arms from a 12-gauge shotgun.

Police arrested Andrew Norris on July 10 and charged him with three counts of aggravated assault for the July 5th shootings.

Police say the Lane and Norris had been in at a rap battle at a nearby apartment where a disturbance had broken out earlier that night.
