Shots fired in Waco neighborhood, no injuries

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

A man is in custody after he fired shots in a Waco neighborhood following a disturbance Thursday morning. No one was injured. Shots were fired in the 1900 block of 15th Street in Waco.

Benjamin Mccary is facing 2 counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal mischief and evading arrest charges.

Police responded to a disturbance at 15th Street this morning in which they were told a white male got into a disturbance with his neighbors and pointed a gun at them.

Witnesses say Mccary fired 4 rounds into a parked vehicle in the neighborhood. Officers set a perimeter when they arrived on the scene.

Police located Mccary at 12th and Daughtrey, but he fled the scene. Police found him later again after he ran back to 15th St.

Police used a stun gun on him and took him into custody.
