Oglesby man killed in East Texas boat collision

QUITMAN, Texas (AP) - Texas game wardens have released the identities of 2 people killed after two boats collided on an East Texas lake earlier this week.

Killed in the Monday night collision on Lake Fork were 34-year-old Justin Douglas Wilcox of Oglesby and 69-year-old Walter Edward Serbon Jr. of Yantis.

Maj. Game Warden David Murray with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department said Wednesday that a 12-year-old boy severely injured in the wreck remains hospitalized at Children's Medical Center of Dallas. He did not have details on the boy's condition.

Murray says there is no information yet on the cause of the accident, which happened around sunset on the lake near Quitman, about 70 miles east of Dallas. Wilcox and Serbon were driving the boats.

The investigation is continuing.
