Killeen PD searching for burglar who stole baseball equipment

The Killeen Police Department Burglary Unit is seeking the public's help in finding the man who is burglarized a vehicle in Killeen. The burglary took place in the 1400 block of Nina Dr.

An officer saw a silver Jeep Liberty with the back door open in a driveway around 4 p.m. Wednesday morning. The officer told the owner what he saw and after looking through the vehicle, he found items had been stolen.

One of the items that was taken from the vehicle was a baseball equipment bag that had baseballs, bats and gloves in it.

The suspect is described as a white male either in his late teens or early 20's. He looks to be 5'9'' with a slim to medium build. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and jeans, dark colored shoes and gloves.

Police say it is possible he broke into several other vehicles in the area.
