Second suspect arrested in connection with Temple murder

Detectives have charged a second suspect in connection with the Temple murder of a man whose name was released by police on Tuesday.

Barbie Lee Frazier has been charged tampering with physical evidence with intent to impair a human corpse.

According to Temple police, the 54-year-old Frazier was the 2nd person in the house when 43-year-old Michael Carl Davis of Temple, was murdered. Police have already arrested Willie Frank Roberson Jr. and charged him with murder of Davis.

During an interview done with detectives, Frazier admitted that she and Roberson had tampered with the crime scene and made up a story about the events that had led up to the murder.

Frazier was arrested in the 600 block of S. 7th St. on Monday, without incident.
