There was an accident early Friday morning on Interstate 35 that blocked I-35 northbound lanes for hours and has one person in critical condition. The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on the northbound side of I-35 around exit 292.

According to investigators, three people were driving in a pick up truck going north on I-35 when they lost electrical power. The driver of the truck got out to check to see what was wrong.
