AAA says Texas retail gasoline prices up 3 cents

HOUSTON (AP) - Retail gasoline prices across Texas have risen 3 cents this week to an average of $3.40 per gallon.

AAA Texas on Thursday reported that the average nationwide gas prices remain at $3.63 per gallon.

The association found that Corpus Christi has the cheapest gasoline in Texas at $3.29 per gallon. The most expensive gasoline was in Amarillo, costing $3.51 per gallon.

AAA says Texas drivers have some of the cheapest gas in the country compared to other states.
