Killeen man threatens to kill judge


A 31-year-old Killeen man is being held after he threatened to kill a judge and spit on an officer. The incident happened May 1 in the Justice of the Peace Garland Potvin's court.

Robert Alexander Dubose was sent the Bell County Jail Tuesday after first being sent to the Austin State Hospital for evaluation.

According to police, Dubose was brought into court on a charge of unlawfully carrying a weapon. During the arraignment process, he is accused of threatening to kill Judge Potvin and spitting on a public safety officer when he was taken to jail.

Dubose is now being charged with terrorist threat causing impairment of a public servant and harassment of a public servant.
