Second suspect arrested in Waco robbery outside restaurant

WACO, TX (KXXV) -

A second suspect has been arrested in connection with a robbery of an 82-year-old man outside a local restaurant. The incident happened in the 600 block of N. Valley Mills Dr. at Golden Corral in Waco on May 28.

19-year-old Deandre Levaughnta Cammon was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Tuesday. Cammon is suspected of being the getaway driver for Marquise Loyce Eugene Hall, who was arrested May 29.

Hall is accused of attacking a Robinson man as he stepped out of his truck in the parking lot of Golden Corral. The man put up a fight, but was overpowered and had his wallet and cell phone taken.

Police say Hall got in a silver Chevy Malibu driven by Cammon and fled the scene. The car was found abandoned at the Blair's Cove Apartments.
