Charges have been filed against the attacker in Killeen bullying caught on tape

Three months after the assault happened, charges have been filed against the teen who attacked his autistic eighth grade classmate on camera.

Vivian Brundidge, mother of 13-year-old Deandre Losero, met with the Bell County Attorney earlier this week to discuss the case. The attacker will be charged with aggravated assault, and other teens in the video will be called as witnesses.

However, Brundidge tells News Channel 25's Markeya Thomas that she is not happy that the other teens will not be charged.

"I'm happy that something is finally being done," explains Brundidge. "I'm still not happy about the other end of it, the other people involved. I'm not happy about that part."

Brundidge says she still plans to file a civil suit against the other teens for conspiracy. After speaking with some of her son's classmates, they told her the fight had been planned days before it happened.

Despite the madness of the final semester of Losero's eighth grade year, his mother says this is a big week for Losero. He also graduated from the eighth grade and was commended in several subjects.

Losero will also begin martial arts classes very soon.
