Only one of the teens in the video of the 13-year-old being beaten up will have charges brought against him.
This morning the Bell County Attorney contacted the mother of the teen, Vivian Brundidge, with their decision. However, she feels like more could be done. She wants the other teens involved to understand the repercussions of their actions.
"I think that all the children should at least have something to show 'hey, what you did was wrong," explains Brundidge. "I feel like they are getting slapped on the wrist, like 'don't do that again."
Following the incident, the bullied teen, Deandre Losero, has suffered from nightmares and cold sweats. Brundidge believes she will have to take him to see a counselor, because he has not been the same since that fight.
She plans to bring a civil suit against the other children in the video. She has the names and addresses of four the teens and their parents.
