Property owner catches two teenagers breaking into barn

CENTRAL TEXAS, TX (KXXV) -

A property owner caught two teenagers breaking into a barn Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened around 2 p.m. at the intersection of Rogers Hill Rd. and Tokio Rd. east of Gholson.

The two men, ages 16 and 18, were seen breaking into the building by the property owner. He followed them inside to confront them and trap them in a barn at Ted Helm's roping arena.

The property owner held the suspects in the barn until deputies could leave the standoff in Hallsburg and come to the barn to detain the teenagers. The two men are facing burglary charges.
