Cowboys get another finale against NFC East rival

IRVING, Texas (AP) - If the Dallas Cowboys have a third straight playoffs-or-bust finale against an NFC East rival, this one will be at home.

The Cowboys play Philadelphia at Cowboys Stadium on Dec. 29 to finish the regular season. With postseason berths on the line the past two years, Dallas lost at the New York Giants and at Washington.

Dallas will open against the Giants in a nationally televised night game for the second year in a row, this time on Sept. 8.

Peyton Manning is set to visit Cowboys Stadium for the first time with Denver on Oct. 6. Dallas will see former defensive coordinator Rob Ryan at New Orleans on Nov. 10.

The Cowboys' Thanksgiving opponent is Oakland on Nov. 28 - 11 days after their latest bye week since 1990.
